HandyBee connects Users with local service providers (“Providers”) for various tasks and services. The agreement for services is between the User and the Provider.
2. Service Provider Conduct
Providers are independent franchise owners and agree to:
- Deliver services in a professional and timely manner.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain necessary licenses and insurance.
3. Payments and Fees
Users agree to pay the fees associated with the services they request. Payment terms, including any deposits, cancellations, or refunds, will be outlined at the time of booking. HandyBee may charge a service fee for facilitating transactions.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the HandyBee platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of HandyBee or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of this content is prohibited.
5. Disclaimers
HandyBee provides the platform “as is” and makes no warranties regarding the services provided by Providers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered. Users engage Providers at their own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandyBee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or services.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HandyBee, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims or demands arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
8. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify Users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
